All-rounder Nida Dar also contributed 33 runs, laced with two boundaries and a six.

Muneeba and Dar had stitched a big 101-run partnership for the third wicket to help Pakistan post 165 runs on the scorecard against Ireland.

In a video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on their official Twitter handle, the two national cricketers shed light on the massive win.

"Muneeb played really well," Dar said. "It always helps the team when a pure batter plays a long innings. Because of her century, we posted a massive total, so congrats to her on everyone's behalf."

"It feels great that I scored to help the team win. I enjoyed it. During the innings, I discussed with Nida to go big, which paid off. We enjoyed it as a team and also individually," Muneeb replied.

The left-handed batter also thanked everyone who congratulated her on achieving the milestone.

Put to bat first, the national women's side posted a massive 165 runs before bowling out Ireland for 95 runs, thanks to Muneeba's century and a sensational bowling performance by Nashra Sandhu.

In the history of Pakistan's women's cricket, Muneeba became the first batter to score a century in a World Cup and T20 International.

Muneeba has so far represented Pakistan in 30 WODI and 44 WT20I since her debut in 2016.

After this win, Pakistan grabbed the number three position in Group 2 which also includes India, West Indies, and England.

The win is big boost for Pakistan as they had lost to arch-rivals India in their opening match.

Pakistan will next lock horns with the West Indies on February 19.
